WordPress 5.2 is scheduled for release at the end of April. We’ll take a look at what’s new. A multitude of improvements to Gutenberg including a block manager, and the start of migrating Widgets to Blocks.
5.2 introduces a whole new Site Health Checker that will warn you about critical configuration changes you should make to your website and helpful debugging information.
Plus new tools to help you when you encounter the dreaded White Screen of Death, WordPress will automatically pause the plugin causing the issue so you can get back into your WordPress site and fix the issue.
This new version of WordPress bumps the minimum PHP version to 5.6, we’ll talk about what that means for your website and how you can upgrade to the latest & greatest PHP.
